MENA Mortgage and Affordable Housing Congress

For the second year in a row, the MENA Mortgage and Affordable Housing Congress opened its doors to delegates from across the region who convened for two days in Dubai to address the pressing issues of the mortgage and affordable housing markets.
Acting as the meeting hub for mortgage providers, financial professionals and affordable housing specialists, the congress highlighted opportunities in emerging home financing markets, including the growth of Islamic mortgage-backed securities, affordable mortgage and home financing options in the MENA region, and affordable housing in the context of Arab state’s urban development strategy.
Congress highlights included a speech delivered by Mohamad Al Marri, Assistant CEO of Finance at the Mohammad Bin Rashid Housing Establishment, emphasising the housing policy of the Emirate of Dubai and role of the Establishment in providing affordable housing units to those in need.
