Attendance was high, with nearly fifty people in the two sessions generating a lively debate, with coffee breaks allowing Levvel and clients to discuss the issues. “We are really pleased with how the seminar went, we made some great contacts, met up with old friends, made some new friends and hopefully we can help developers get their projects moving again. The building industry is really struggling at the moment, the housing market has crashed, and just to make things worse, land taxes are being introduced adding to the ever increasing costs of development. We need to get the information out to small and large developers and I think the seminar is a great way to get face to face with our market,” says Stuart Woodward, Managing Director of Levvel. Levvel has established that the planning viability issues affecting development are still misunderstood and are pleased that the series of seminars assists the industry in using effective viability appraisals to unblock planning negotiations.
