Darlington Borough Council has asked Levvel to look at the viability of housing land coming forward in the Borough. The Council is keen to see how much affordable housing can come forward through the planning system to help meet the need identified in their SHMA both now and during the life of the Core Strategy to 2026. Levvel will aim to give the Council the information they need to set challenging but realistic targets that address the spatial and temporal aspects of housing viability in the area. The study is now underway and a stakeholders meeting has been organised for April 15th at 12noon in the Town Hall in Darlington.
